Our 14‑Day Return Promise
At Karat Goldsmiths, we want you to adore every piece you receive. If for any reason you change your mind, just let us know within 14 days of delivery. Please keep your jewellery unworn, unused, and in its original packaging.
Please note that due to hygeine concerns we cannot accept returns on any earrings, studs or nose rings. Made-to-order and Bespoke items are also ineligible for returns.
Spot a Flaw? We’ve Got You
As soon as your order arrives, give it a quick once‑over. If there’s any defect such as loose prongs, a missing stone, or anything that doesn’t meet our exacting standards, click contact us and we’ll set things right under our warranty. Damage due to wear and tear isn’t covered by refunds.
In unlikely case that you lose any stones from an items, we offer free CZ replacements and diamond replacements up to 0.1 ct. For any other tweaks or repairs, simply head to our contact page or email info@karatgoldsmiths.co.uk and we’ll take care of it.
How to Send Something Back
Click Contact Us and tell us your order number and why you’d like to return.
We’ll send you a prepaid return form and label—just pop your jewellery back in the original box, stick on the label, and drop it off at your nearest post office.
We’ll deduct a £4 return‑shipping & processing fee from your refund
For our international customers, please arrange and purchase your own return shipping label. We recommend choosing a tracked and fully insured service whenever possible to protect against loss or damage in transit. That way, you can enjoy peace of mind and ensure your jewellery makes it safely back to us.

Your Refund, Sorted
Once your return reaches us, give us up to 14 days to inspect and process everything. As soon as we’ve approved it, we’ll send your refund to your original payment method. If you haven’t seen those funds hit your account after 14 days, send us another message and we’ll chase it up right away.
Abuse Prevention & Fraud Protection
We’re all about honesty and our policies are here to help genuine jewellery lovers like you, not scammers. So we keep an eye out for return‑label tampering or misreported deliveries. If we spot anything suspicious, we’ll have to refuse the refund and report it. We hope you understand; it’s the only way to keep our pricing fair and keep our service top‑notch.
Shipping with Confidence
UK Delivery: Every order travels via Royal Mail Special Delivery, fully tracked, insured, and requiring a signature on arrival.
Diamond Engagement Rings: Handcrafted just for you—please allow 4/5 weeks from order to dispatch.
22ct & 18ct Collections: Usually on their way within one working day, though busy seasons might stretch that to three days.
Missing Package? If your tracking says “delivered” but you haven't received your item, please contact us. We’ll work with Royal Mail to investigate and do everything we can to resolve the issue. We also keep detailed shipping records to support the process and make sure things are handled fairly in the case of any payment disputes.
