Our mission
Karat Goldsmiths was founded to meet a need in the jewellery market that had long gone unanswered: access to purer materials in designs that could be worn every day. We set out to move away from the industry norm of offering lower quality gold with high markups and instead create jewellery that has real value while still feeling modern and wearable.
We found that higher quality and purer materials were often reserved for culturally focused designs, often crafted into heavy, ornate pieces that weren't suited for daily wear. On the other hand, the industry leaders in everyday jewellery were offering lower quality gold with higher markups, sacrificing on both value and longevity.
We set out to change that. Jewellery made at Karat Goldsmiths is jewellery made to stand the test of time and be worn no matter the occasion.
By reimagining what fine gold jewellery could look and feel like, we’re creating a new standard, being one that doesn’t compromise on quality, ethics, or style.

All our gold is recycled, helping us reduce environmental impact while preserving the luxury and integrity of traditional materials.
